HOT 6 with a hypnotist

Written by Kajsa IngelssonOctober 2, 2016

Next up in the HOT 6 is Ariel from Montreal. I encountered her during my time in the city and found her to be a woman with great depth. She possesses an inner strength and calmness that you don’t come across very often, so I was very curious of her point of view on the HOT 6.

What is it that you do? Who would benefit from seeing you?

I am a hypnotist. I am founder and president of The Montreal Hypnosis Centre where I do hypnotherapy with private clients. Hypnotherapy is beneficial for helping people create changes in their life, so everybody could benefit from a hypnosis session. I also offer healing workshops for groups and I offer a certification program to train new hypnotists. I am a stage hypnotist, offering a fun and entertaining shows for corporate and private events.

There is so much pressure in today’s society to have it all, see all and be all. How do counter the stress that this brings and find balance in your life?

As far as seeing it all or having it all, it is a matter of perspective. Whatever my mind believes becomes my truth, so I choose to believe in my abundance and my ability to keep the balance.

What does it mean to you to live a healthy life?

A healthy life is one that generates my sense of happiness and wellness. A good meal, exercise, meditation, positive communication with friends, family and all, these all contribute to my healthy life. Most importantly though is my ability to simply let go and allowing myself to release any negativity that may come my way.

What are the top three things you do to contribute to saving this planet?

When it comes to saving the planet, I have faith that the planet will far outlive our human existence. That being said though, I still do my best to walk lightly on this planet in the hopes that my great great great grandchildren will have trees to climb and healthy air to breathe.

What are your favorite health habits/routines?

Healthy habits…lots of raw food and vegetables. Daily exercise and continually generating a state of homeostasis to the best of my ability. My meditation keeps me in balance and exercises my ability to let thing go with ease.

What’s the best advice you have for us on how to live life to the fullest?

The only purpose in this life is my happiness. It is my responsibility to develop an understanding to what brings me joy and then to generate an abundance of it. Happiness is a choice and therefore I choose it!!
