Chickpea Crackers

I love healthy crackers. Being a salt fiend, I especially love making my own. I choose big flaked salt, taking the crunch and salty up a notch. These crackers and super easy and fast to make, with very few ingredients. Dont expect them to last very long though, I finished my batch within the hour..

Crunchy Chickpea Crackers

  • 2 cups (5 dl) chickpea flour
  • A dash of paprika for color
  • 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) oil of choice
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • Spices of choice, I had big flaked saffron salt

Make it like this;

  1. Mix chickpea flour with paprika and any spices/salt.
  2. Mix in oil and water.
  3. Knead it to a thick dough. Everything should be mixed together.
  4. Roll dough thin between two pieces of parchment paper then cut into desired shapes.
  5. Bake at 350°F 176°C for 10-15 minutes or until dry & crispy.
