I have a man who loves to eat crispy things. I also had a bunch of mushrooms at home. Alas, here’s some crispy mushrooms 😛
Crispy Mushrooms
30 min, makes about 1 cup (2 dl)
- 4 handfuls of mushrooms, I mixed oyster and shiitake
- 3 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 10 drops of liquid smoke (optional)
Make it like this;
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the mushrooms into long, even slices
- In a large bowl, toss the mushrooms with the oil, smoke and salt. Coat well.
- Transfer to a baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the mushrooms are browned and crisp, stirring once halfway through cooking.
- The mushrooms will crisp up even more as they cool.
These are best served immediately, since they will lose their crispness if stored.
