Summer’s in full swing, and we all need to cool down one way or another, right?
With that in mind, I just have to share the recipe of the banana nice cream I made yesterday. It’s raw, vegan, veeeeeeery easy to make and super delicious!
This recipe makes for a perfect after dinner dessert for more than it’s flavour. This is because the minerals and amino acids in a banana help relax your body. Bananas are packed with potassium, magnesium and tryptophan, aiding you get a nice nights sleep.
Banana Nice Cream with Nut-butter
- 4 frozen bananas, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons peanut or other nut butter
- A splash of almond or other non dairy milk (to make the blending easier)
- Sliced strawberries or other toppings of your choice
Make it:
- Start by placing all your banana chunks in your blender.
- Add the milk and nut butter and blend until smooth. You might have to pause and stir a couple of times depending on your blender.
- Scoop up in a bowl, add your toppings and drizzle with nut butter. Et voila!
