Chickpea flatbread

The New Kajsa Post Allergy Diet 101 continuous. So what that I can’t eat any kind of wheat or yeast? I’ll get my bread on anyway!

Chickpea Flatbread

About 40 min

  • One part chickpea flour (like 2 dl)
  • One part water (same)
  • A couple of tablespoons of olive oil

Make it like this:

  • Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Let it rest for 30 min.
  • Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F)
  • Heat a cast iron pan in the oven under the broiler for 5 min just before cooking
  • Add your batter into the hot cast iron pan and cook in the oven for about 7 min
  • Look for crispy edges and a little browned surface and you are ready to go!
  • Serve with fresh garlic and LOTS of olive oil, salt and pepper on top.
