Hot 6 with a Therapeut

Written by Kajsa IngelssonDecember 5, 2020

Mira Krol is a spiritual therapeut that I have been seeing close to 5 years now. I admit, I was a bit sceptical at first, but we have uncovered ground that probably would have taken me 50+ years (if even) with conventional conversion therapy. Her methods are unique and quite mystical, helping you to unlock your true potential in a way you never experienced before if you are willing to do the work.

What is it that you do?

I work therapeutically with a person’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects. The aim is to align these levels in a way that allows for balance and well being. The premise is that our physical presence is made up essentially of energy and consciousness

Negative and dysfunctional  patterns of behaviour, thoughts, and emotional expressions are examined.  The source of this imbalance and suffering is mostly unconscious. We cannot be the observer and the observed at the same time. We need someone to reflect back to us what we cannot see. And that person, in this case would be myself, your Therapist.

Often enough the body sends signals in that it will express discomfort and pain. The quality of life is greatly reduced when physical, mental and emotional pain is present. The aim is to clear the old wounds and as a result be able to approach life’s challenges in a more healthy way.

All this work is in service to the potential of fulfillment that lies within every single person (hidden as it may be). I use several modalities including BodyTalk, Art Therapy, Imagery, Jungian Psychology and more, all leading to discover practical applications to an individual’s life, thus creating and leading to change for a better quality of life.

Who would benefit from seeing you?

Anyone who is not satisfied with how their life is unfolding would benefit from my Therapy. If you feel imbalanced, depressed, anxious, stuck in the past, confused, lost, in doubt about yourself, trapped, unfulfilled, fed up in your relationships and/or career, then it is time to do something about it.

Change can come only if you begin with looking at yourself.

What does it mean to you to live a healthy life?

A healthy life includes the balance of the body, mind and spirit. A healthy life builds up from a strong foundation of self worth, self love and compassion for the self. In our suffering which is part of being human, we learn how precious joy is. We learn how important and fundamental it is to take care of our body, mind and spirit. We need these aspects to be healthy to enjoy life and contribute.

From a healthy inner life, we are able to reach out into the community and contribute to the bigger picture. We do not live in a cave all by ourselves. We live in a community.

We live on this beautiful, exquisite planet. Being in balance with yourself and your significant ones, allows you to reach out further and contribute to the overall good.

Living with enthusiasm and inspiration brings joy and fulfillment. When you sparkle, you contribute to the Light.

What are the top three things you do to contribute to saving this planet?

I am conscious of what I consume physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We are a consumer society continuously bombarded with “stuff” on a material level as well as the mental and emotional levels. To not get overwhelmed, it is important to discern what is beneficial for yourself, community and environment. To be grounded within yourself, allows you to make good decisions based on your values

It is important to me to recycle. I will not use products that may hurt our environment.  We compost as well.  I garden in the summer growing some of my own vegetables and flowers to attract bees. I love the the community gardens.

I support agencies that rescue animals. It is painful to see how we as the custodians, disrespect and abuse our fellow beings who have every right to be here, to be safe and thrive.

What are your favourite health habits/routines?

I exercise regularly. I love to spend time in nature. I meditate both to distress (still my mind) and to commune. I journal. I draw. I enjoy learning. I am always open to new ideas.  I like to spend time with like minded people, namely family, friends and colleagues. I greatly enjoy my work.

What’s the best advice you have for us on how to live life to the fullest?

The best advice I have for you, is to begin with yourself. Ask yourself these questions:

How fulfilled am I?

Am I living my potential?

Am I stuck in a loop where I make continuous choices that do not fulfill me?

Do I feel trapped?

Do I sabotage myself?

How does my body feel?

What are my thoughts focused on?

Am I happy in my relationships?

Do I get up in the morning with enthusiasm and joy?

If your answer is “I am happy and fulfilled”, you are doing great!
However, if not, then you need to do some work. No one else is going to live your life. This is “your” life!! Wake up! You have choices! Commit to your life!
