You wanna know something about me? I always keep a bowl of these bad boys in the kitchen. My man loves them, the dogs love them and so do I and everyone else. They are high in protein and you can flavor them 100 different ways, add them to a salad or snack on them as they are! It’s a vegan win-win!
Roasted Chickpeas
Takes about 20 min
- Chickpeas (i usually take about 4-5 dl)
- Spices (I like a blend of garlic, turmeric and herb salt but go loco here!)
- Coconut oil (I usually use around 2 tablespoons or more)
Make and bake:
- Soak the beans overnight in some water and salt. (skip this step if using canned beans)
- Drain and rise.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F)
- Place on an oven tray, add the spices and the oil and mix it.
- Roast for about 15-25 min, depending on how crispy you want them. Use a wooden spoon to mix them a couple of times while roasting.
- Let cool and eat eat eat!
