Papaya is one of my favourite fruits. I just love the flavour and the cooling effect it has on my body. It is also a very healthy fruit, containing more than 150% of your daily recommended dose of vitamin C and a high dose of vitamin A and B9. Its a fruit that’s has both strong anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer benefits.
It also aids in digestion and its enzymes are popular in various digestive enzyme supplements.
When you include the seeds in the smoothie, you are getting even more benefits from this amazing fruit. They are an excellent anti bacterial and parasite remedy due to the carbine found in the seeds, plus it is said that they help to regenerate the liver on a cellular level.

Be aware though, the seeds are spicy, so this smoothie will be a tangy pick me up!
Liver Rescue Papaya Smoothie
Serves 1
- 1/2 papaya, peeled but with seeds
- Water until desired consistency
How to make it:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy right away!
