Meditation is one of the greatest things you will ever engage in. It will support you health in many various ways and make your life so much more joyous and pleasant.
It might not feel like it after the first session (it sure did not for me), but give it a couple of weeks and watch yourself slowly transforming, like the butterfly breaking free from its cocoon.
Im talking from my own experience here people! I used to be anxious, stressed, snappy and living so much inside of my head from a fear-based mindset. It was like a mental prison I built for myself, and to cope with it I occupied myself with a variety of addictions, one after another (or at the same time, HA).
I have been meditating for 5 years now, and wow, what a difference. I am in my body and heart, not my head. I cry, laugh and let things come and go without obsessing. I walk on this planet in peace with both myself and all other beings. Well, most of the time at least. I am not perfect, but nor do I aim to be. I simply want to live my best life, here and now.
